KeKe Calloway has maintained a steady GPA throughout her time at Mercer, while also carrying the load as Mercer’s go-to scorer. She is a biology major with a pre-med focus and has stayed above a 3.0 throughout her career.

Character

Calloway is the vocal leader on the court and is one of the Bears’ captains heading into the season. She exemplifies what it means to be a student-athlete at Mercer and is one that the community and her younger teammates look up to.

Community

Calloway is actively involved in the Macon community, working with Habitat for Humanity, local animal shelters and going on mission trips with Mercer on Mission. She enjoys getting to work with the animal shelters when her time allows. Those in the Macon community know of Calloway and what she means to the university.

Competition

Look no further than Calloway in terms of outstanding players. As a junior, she finished second on the team in points per game, averaging 16.9. Adding to that, Calloway averaged 3.5 boards per game. She hit a Mercer and SoCon record 99 three pointers as a junior last season, while also knocking down 12 threes against Furman to tie an NCAA record for most threes in a game. Calloway enters her senior campaign as the all-time leader in career threes made at Mercer with 219, looking to build on that record this season.

In 2018, she was named to the All-SoCon Tournament First Team and received All-SoCon First Team honors.
