KeVonn Mabon earned his Ball State bachelor’s degree this past May. He is only one of five players on the 2016 roster with a collegiate degree.
Character
Mabon is one of four team captains for the Cardinals this year. He bounced back from a season-ending injury in 2013 to start 10 games in 2014 and lead the team with 59 receptions.
Community
Mabon has joined several other Cardinals in community service projects around Muncie including the Muncie Animal Shelter, Muncie Boys & Girls Club, Second Harvest Food Bank and Muncie Clean & Beautiful.
Competition
Mabon became the 10th Cardinal to reach 2,000 career receiving yards in the game at Indiana on September 10, 2016. He is on the Biletnikoff Award Watch List and is a two-time All-MAC honoree. Last year, Mabon earned all-league honors as both a wide receiver and kick returner.
