Kieran is excelling academically on the pre-med track as a cell biology and neuroscience major in pursuit of a career as a doctor. He holds a 3.8 cumulative GPA. Kieran was inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, the National Collegiate Athlete Honor Society. He is an Academic All-Big Ten recipient and Big Ten Distinguished Scholar.

Character

Kieran is in his second season as a team captain. Having earned a spot in the starting lineup as a freshman, Kieran been an integral part of the team for his entire career and through that time has been a dependable teammate, mentor, and leader. A high achiever both in the classroom and on the field, he is a perfect example to his teammates of a true student-athlete. His career goals in the field of medicine are lofty and are inspired by an altruistic desire to help others heal. Kieran was chosen as the male student speaker for the athletic department’s annual preseason 50 yard dinner, telling his personal story to an assembled crew of department staff, donors, fans and community members.

Community

Kieran is an active volunteer in team community service efforts, particularly working with the Embrace Kids Foundation and participating in their Special Friends Day.

Competition

In 2019, Kieran was named Honorable Mention All-American (USILA), First Team All-Big Ten, and All-ECAC honoree. He led the team last season with 37 assists and was second with 60 points and third with 23 goals. In 41 career games, he has scored 89 goals and 70 assists for 159 points. Kieran has collected 70 ground balls.
