Classroom

Hiebert has already earned his undergraduate degree, boasting a 4.0 GPA as an accounting major. He now carries a 3.92 GPA while pursuing a forensics certificate in the Master’s of Accountancy program. Hiebert is also working on data analytics in an accounting certificate program.

During his time at Missouri State, Hiebert has received countless accolades for his work in the classroom. He was named the United Soccer Coaches National Scholar Player of the Year, as well as a first team CoSIDA Academic All-American and Team Member of the Year recipient in 2020-21. Hiebert also earned All-America status in 2017, 2018, and 2019.

His other awards include: MVC President’s Council Academic Award, MVC Elite 17 Award twice, MVC Scholar-Athlete first team four times, MVC Academic Honor five times, MVC Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award five times, and MSU AD’s Honor Roll 12 times.

Character

Hiebert, a rock for the Missouri State team, is a multi-year captain. Before each game, he starts by leading his teammates in prayer.

Everyone looks up to him and wants to emulate who he is, on and off of the field. He has become an ambassador for Missouri State Athletics and is one of the greatest student athletes that we’ve ever had the pleasure to have on campus. Hiebert is a humble, down to earth, caring person. He does a lot of little things that are so meaningful to others.

Community

Hiebert has volunteered with many organizations while at Missouri State. He is involved with a children’s ministry at church, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Help Give Hope.

He is also on the college leadership team at the Hilly City church and works as a Bear Claw tutor, helping facilitate learning for fellow students.

Competition

Hiebert, a two-time MVC Defensive Player of the Year, has been named to the All-MVC Team three times. He has also been named to the MVC All-Tournament Team twice and recognized as the MVC Defensive Player of the Week three times.

For his stellar career so far, Hiebert has a been named a United Soccer Coaches All-American twice, earning first team honors last season. He has also been selected to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Team four times, earning first team honors twice.

Prior to the 2021 season, Hiebert was named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List after finishing as a semifinalist last year.

He currently has two goals on the season.
