White is pursuing a degree in math education, carrying a 3.64 cumulative GPA. She has earned a spot on the Cleveland State University Dean’s List five semesters during her collegiate career and is an annual recipient of Horizon League Honor Roll accolades.

She is on track to graduate with her bachelor’s degree as Magna Cum Laude.

Character

White is one of the hardest working players on the team, continually striving to better herself and her teammates, on and off the court. She is the ideal student-athlete, in that she is completely focused on completing her degree and staying on top of her academic responsibilities despite her hectic daily schedule.

She is committed to excellence and will do whatever it takes to be the best at whatever she is doing. This team would not be what it is today without her leadership on the court and attitude and guidance in the locker room.

Community

White is currently serving as the Cleveland State SAAC Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Chair, after serving as the Student-Athlete Engagement Chair as a junior.

White is an active participant in the Horizon League’s #OneHL Working Group – which was created to bring about meaningful change and action to social issues across the league. Also a member of the Cleveland State Athletics Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee, she serves as the student-athlete representative.

She participates annually in Cleveland State SAAC community service projects, while also taking part in Cleveland State women’s basketball community service initiatives.

Competition

Named the 2019-20 Horizon League Defensive Player of the Year, White also earned All-League honors as a sophomore and junior.

She led Cleveland State to just its third 20-win campaign as a junior, as the Vikings finished the 2019-20 campaign with a 21-11 record. White finished the 2019-20 season ranked in the Top-15 Nationally in total steals and steals per game.

White has been an integral part of the CSU starting lineup over the last three seasons and is on track to eclipse the 1,000-point mark for her career.
