Nocita enters the semester with a 3.58 cumulative GPA as a history major. He has carried at least 17 credits in each of his first six semesters, including 18 in each of the last three.

Nocita carries a Military Order of Merit, ranking 43 of 1,131 Midshipmen in his class.

For his academic accomplishments, he was named a CoSIDA second team Academic All-American last season. Nocita has also been named to the Naval Academy Superintendent’s List three times, Commandant’s List four times, and Dean’s List twice.

Community

Nocita has been a staple in assisting with camps held by the Navy men’s soccer program over the duration of his time as a member of the program. He has assisted in all facets of the camps, including helping to teach the game of soccer to those who participate in the events.

Competition

Nocita has compiled a decorated resume entering his senior season as a defender for the Navy men’s soccer program. The senior is a three-time All-Patriot League selection, including being named a first team honoree in each of the last two seasons.

Nocita has also garnered honors as the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year twice and was named the conference’s preseason Defensive Player of the Year prior to this season.

In addition to anchoring the backline of the Navy defense, he has tallied 12 points on five goals and two assists on the offensive end. Nocita has started all 50 games he has appeared in during his career.
