Classroom

Fearnley carries a 3.84 GPA as a health and physical education major at Georgia State. In 2020, he became the first player in program history to earn CoSIDA Academic All-America recognition, earning third team honors. Fearnley was also named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American Team and the All-Region Team.

He has also been named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll once, President’s List twice, and Dean’s List three times.

Fearnley’s future career aspirations include going into coaching.

Character

Fearnley is a leader for the Panthers, both on and off the field. His teammates rely on him to be a leader - and he takes that very seriously. He is the first to pick up a teammate if they are down or celebrate with them.

In the classroom, Fearnley leads by example. He is a role model for the younger players who hope to one day fill in his footsteps.

Community

While at Georgia State, Fearnley has participated in multiple community service initiatives. Recently, he joined his teammates to clean up the Oakland Park Cemetery near the Panthers’ facility.

Competition

Last season, Fearnley was named to the All-Sun Belt and Sun Belt All-Tournament teams. He tied for the team and conference lead with five goals in only 13 games played, helping lead the Panthers to a sixth-straight Sun Belt Conference Tournament Championship Game appearance. During the season, Fearnley took a team-high 31 shots, with 19 ending up on goal. He received ‘Offensive Player of the Week’ recognition from the Sun Belt and ‘Team of the Week’ recognition from TopDrawerSoccer and College Soccer News.

In Fearnley’s sophomore season, he started 16 matches. He finished second on the team in goals (7) and total points (15).

In his freshman season, Fearnley started 18 games and tallied one goal.
