Classroom

Cowher has a 3.1 GPA in religion and plans a senior thesis to review how politicians use religious rhetoric in their speeches and for what gain. She wrote her junior paper on religion and sport in America. She is considering entering the consulting field after graduation and has worked as a production intern for CBS’ Early Show in summer 2007.

Character

Cowher is a team captain in 2007-08. She is president of Princeton’s Varsity Student Athlete Advisory Committee, which includes a position on the Faculty Advisory Committee on Athletics and Campus Recreation and a seat on the Undergraduate Life Committee.

Community

Cowher is president of a new charity on campus, the Ivy Athletes Charity Team (IACT-Princeton).

Competition

Cowher was a first-time all-Ivy League selection during the 2006 and 2007 seasons, after capturing the league’s 2005 Ivy League Rookie of the Year award as a freshman. She broke the Princeton single-season scoring record in 2007 with 496 points. She scored 66 points in a two-game Ivy League weekend last year, the highest total for an Ivy weekend of any Princeton woman all-time and more than any man other than Bill Bradley in 1965. She currently stands at 4th on the Princeton all-time scoring list.
