Jones carries a 3.4 GPA in pursuit of a sport management degree.

She is a two-time All-ACC Academic Honor Roll and two-time All-ACC Academic Team selection. Jones has also been named to both the Dean’s List and President’s List.

Character

Jones’ vibrant personality has made her a notable figure in Tallahassee. She demonstrates tremendous social skills and always finds the good in others.

Jones does not have to be limited to a crowd full of athletes and instead can blend in with everyone, always finding common interests. She wants to be a leader and cares about deeper issues in the world.

Community

Jones takes pride in her community efforts. She has performed over 120 hours of service through multiple organizations, including nursing homes and elementary schools.

Jones is involved in various committees with Florida State’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and took part in the ACC Search Advisory Committee. In addition, Jones is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha and helped form the Black Student-Athlete Association on campus.

Competition

Recognized for her stellar play last season, Jones became the Seminoles’ 21st All-American and 15th All-ACC first team selection.

She was the first guard in program history to be named to both the all-conference first team and all-defensive team in the same season. Jones joined Natasha Howard, Jacinta Monroe, and Brooke Wyckoff as Florida State’s four All-Americans who made both of those teams. She also became the first guard to led the team in rebounding since 2006.
