Classroom

Heninger earned his bachelor’s degree from Utah, as well as a business administration degree from Utah State this Spring. He is currently pursuing a second bachelor’s degree in unmanned aerial systems.

Heninger was named a 2021 CoSIDA Academic All-American and 2020 CoSIDA Academic All-District honoree.

He has also been selected as a Mountain West Scholar-Athlete, All-Mountain West twice, and Academic All-Pac 12 twice.

Character

Heninger represents all that a student-athlete should be. He is a tremendous player on the field and both his passion and energy are evident to all.

He is a teammate that invests in others, as well as himself, to improve every day. Heninger’s success in the classroom, along with being a consistent and a visible representative of Aggie football in the community, make him a natural fit for the Senior CLASS Award.

Community

Heninger has been an active participant of the Utah State community.

He is a member of the USU Football Captains, Council, Athletic Council Gender and Minorities Subcommittee, and Student-Athlete Advisory Council.

He has also volunteered with the Sexual Assault Task Force, USU Football Youth Clinics, USU Football Women’s Clinic, USU Football Family Fun Day, Logan Pioneer Day Parade, and was a guest speaker at elementary schools.

Competition

Heninger is equally as impressive on the field as he is off of it.

He strives to be great in everything that he does and his work-ethic will lead him to further success once his collegiate career is over.

He was named an All-Mountain West honorable mention following last season.
