Classroom

Jensen, an actuarial science major, carries a 3.70 cumulative GPA. He was named to the 2020-21 United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America first team after compiling a 4.0 GPA last winter.

Jensen has also been named to the 2020-21 United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Region Team, Horizon League All-Academic Team twice, and the Horizon League Honor Roll every semester.

Character

He is a young man with high character, a fantastic student in the classroom, a tremendous work ethic with ambitious purposes, possessed of good morals, and has a high sense of honor and a deep sense of personal responsibility. He is truly one of the best young men to ever wear the Black & Gold in my 21 years at Oakland University.”

Jensen is also a three-time team captain.

Community

Competition

Jensen had one of the most successful campaigns in program history last season. He became the first men’s soccer student-athlete in program history to earn United Soccer Coaches Men’s All-America second team honors in the Division I era after leading the nation in assists (14) and assists per game (1.56). Jensen also ranked seventh in the nation while leading the Horizon League in points (22), second in the country in points per game (2.44), and third on the team in goals (4) with three coming off penalty kicks.

Additionally, he was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-North Region first team and was named one of 15 men’s soccer national semifinalists for the MAC Hermann Trophy, the highest individual award presented to a player in intercollegiate soccer. He also was named the 2021 Horizon League Player of the Year and earned All-Horizon League first team honors.

Prior to the 2021 season, Jensen was named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List.
