Oskar Autio

Penn State
Industrial-Organizational Psychology

Autio has accumulated a 3.78 grade point average in his pursuit of an industrial-organizational psychology degree.

He has been named an Academic All-Big Ten member twice and received 2020-21 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar status.

Autio has been a leader from the moment he stepped foot on campus. His contributions were recognized when he was named Penn State’s 2020-21 Sportsmanship Award honoree.

He displays a strong work ethic and while he may not wear a letter, Autio is a vocal leader and a true role model to the younger players. He carries himself with pride, class, and is a great representation for Penn State.

Autio frequently visited homeless shelters to provide food donations in both Chicago and his native country of Finland before the pandemic.

He enjoys giving back to his communities and hopes to become more involved as restrictions begin to loosen overseas.

In the early portion of his senior campaign, Autio is 4-1-0 between the pipes for the Nittany Lions. He has tallied a 2.00 goals-against average and a .922 save-percentage.

Autio registered his fourth career shutout earlier this season to tie the Penn State program record. He also recorded his first career point with an assist on opening night against LIU.
