After transferring to Marshall from the University of Charleston in 2018, Pita became an immediate leader on his new team.

“He’s a very confident and reliable leader. He has the respect of the team because of his age and ability. Off the field, he’s supportive of the guys and is always there to support and help them.” - Head Coach Chris Grassie

He went to an elementary school during the last season to read books with the kids, and he has helped coach goalkeepers for two local high schools in his spare time. He also has given free goalkeeper gloves to support other goalkeepers in the area.

After winning a Division II National Championship at the University of Charleston in 2017 and racking up numerous awards along the way, Pita made an immediate impact at Marshall.
