Classroom

A Business Analytics major in Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business, Crawford has been an Academic All-Big Ten selection every eligible season. Crawford was also selected as the team’s Notre Dame Club of St. Joseph Valley Rockne Student-Athlete Award winner following his sophomore season.

Crawford carries a 3.6 cumulative GPA into the second semester of his senior year.

Character

Crawford was selected as an alternate captain as a senior to help lead the Irish through many challenges on and off the ice in 2020-21.

Community

One of the team’s leaders in community service, Crawford helped coordinate a (virtual) meet and greet between all Notre Dame student-athletes and Notre Dame Chief of Police Keri Kei Shibata for a conversation about supporting the Notre Dame PD and Notre Dame’s community of color this past fall.

Crawford has also helped with Notre Dame’s Fight For Life program and the team’s Rally for Rudy initiatives as well as the department’s Fighting to Read, Fighting to Feed project aimed at promoting literacy and combating hunger during the pandemic in partnership with local educators and Feeding America.

Competition

A forward who has played both wing and center for the Irish, Crawford has appeared in 89 career games as of January 1st, 2021, scoring three goals and adding five assists.

As a junior, Crawford notched the game winner in overtime to secure a victory against Ohio State.

During his sophomore season, Crawford scored the game-winning goal in Notre Dame’s win over Michigan State in game two of the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals to help the Irish complete the series sweep, as two of his three career goals have proven to be game winners.

Crawford joined the Irish after skating with Omaha and Youngstown in 2016-17 (USHL).
