Classroom

Reggie Rembert studies systems engineering management at the U.S. Air Force Academy. He plans on working in the acquisitions field after graduation.

Character

Rembert is a member of cadet squadron five and served as the second BCT squadron commander during Basic Cadet Training. Rembert, who loves to sing, works with youth at various football camps while on summer leave and also competes in track and field at the Academy. He represented Air Force this summer at the Mountain West Conference media days.

Community

As a junior Rembert was selected to be the group training officer for Basic Cadet Training in addition to his role as squadron commander. Both positions are high-level leadership positions with the cadet wing, where Rembert is responsible for underclassmen and leading the training of incoming freshmen.

Competition

Rembert enters his senior season as a first-team All-MWC honoree by both the MWC media and Phil Steele. As a junior Rembert received first-team All-MWC honors despite missing the first two games of the season. In addition to his defensive duties — he had three interceptions in 2009 — Rembert returns kicks. With 65 returns for 1,388 yards, Rembert is Air Force’s career leader and ranks fifth in kickoff returns and third in kickoff return yards in MWC history.
