Reedy is a two-time Academic All-Big Ten selection, earning the honor every year he has been eligible.

He helped Minnesota set a new program record with a 3.35 cumulative grade point average as a team in the Fall of 2020, while the men’s hockey team recorded a grade point average of 3.46. This was second in program history after last spring’s 3.64.

Character

Reedy regularly represents the United States with USA Hockey, winning back-to-back gold medals at the 2016 and 2017 Under-18 Five Nations Tournament with the U.S. National Under-18 Team. He also helped the U.S. Men’s National Under-18 Team to a gold medal at the 2017 Under-18 Men’s World Championship.

Earning a bronze medal at the 2016 Under-18 Five Nations Tournament and the 2017 Under-18 Four Nations Tournament, Reedy also skated at the 2015 World Under-18 Challenge with the U.S. National Under-17 Team.

Community

Reedy participates in Gopher Hockey’s annual Teddy Bear toss to benefit Masonic Children’s Hospital, as well as Minnesota’s pen pal program with young fans, the annual Skate with the Gophers program, and the Rink Roots program.

Competition

As of February 9th, Reedy has skated in 121 games and has 68 total points. During his season season, he tied a Minnesota record with five assists in a single game on January 21, 2021.

He had a junior season to remember, more than doubling his career goal scoring with 15 tallies and point total with 13.

A fourth round pick by the San Jose Sharks in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, Reedy is on pace for another career year as a senior.
