Shadeen is a criminal justice major. She was a member of the 2018-19 BIG EAST All-Academic Team.


Shadeen is the unquestioned team leader. She is the only player on the roster who is entering her fourth year with Seton Hall. She is the most vocal and the best communicator on the team. When Shadeen speaks, her teammates listen.


She is a three-year participant in Walk for Team Walker and participates in school basketball clinics at local elementary and middle schools. Shadeen helped create Thanksgiving baskets for local families each of the last three years and has assisted with Newark water delivery/donations when the city was facing a lack of clean water crisis.

• Top-10 in the BIG EAST in nearly every statistical category.
• Nine double-doubles, including seven “20 and 10” games in 2018-19.
• Averaged 18.3 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.8 blocks per game, while shooting 54.5 percent from the field, 35.5 percent from 3-point range and 72.2 percent from the free • throw line in 2018-19.
• Scored 32 points and grabbed 11 rebounds vs. Creighton on Jan. 11.
• Had a monster 27-point, 16-rebound double-double against Villanova on Jan. 25.
• Went for 27 points and 10 rebounds against Butler on Feb. 3.
• Scored a career-high 33 points at St. John’s on March 3.
• Started all 32 games in 2017-18 and averaged 7.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per contest.
