Classroom
Austin carries a 3.5 GPA in pursuit a multi-disciplinary studies degree at Ole Miss. She remains on track to graduate this May.
Since arriving in Oxford, Austin has earned spots on both the Dean’s Honor Roll and Chancellor’s Honor Roll.
Character
Austin made an immediate impact on the team’s chemistry after transferring from Maryland. She is one of the program’s leaders on and off the court.
Community
Austin has volunteered with Reading with Rebels, where she goes to local elementary schools and reads to classes. She has also worked with a Night to Shine, assisting at the prom for those with special needs.
In addition, Austin has assembled snack bags to donate to families in need throughout the Mississippi Delta.
Competition
Austin is the SEC’s active leader in career rebounds. She was named a WBCA All-America Honorable Mention and a first team All-SEC pick last year.
Entering her fourth year, Austin has been named to the Wade Award, Wooden Award, Naismith Award, and Lisa Leslie Award Watch Lists. She was also selected to the preseason all-conference team.
