Titus has excelled in the class room as well as on the court, boasting a 3.56 grade-point average as a finance major. Titus has earned a spot on the Academic All-SoCon Team twice in her career, while also landing on the Dean’s List twice. Titus is on pace to graduate this spring and is finishing strong, posting a perfect 4.0 GPA this fall.

After graduation, Titus intends on pursuing a career as a financial planner.

Character

Titus has gained the respect of everyone around her and is viewed as a leader on Mercer’s team. While Titus may not be the most vocal leader out there, she leads by example and works hard to be a role model for the underclassmen. Whether it’s on the court, in the classroom, or just in every day life, Titus always tries to do what is right over what is easy.

One of the greatest examples of this is her team-first mentality. Arguably Titus’ greatest asset is her versatility, so that she can help the team in whatever way is required. Titus was a role player in her first two seasons alongside a talented group in the class of 2019 before stepping up as the veteran of last year’s squad. When the time came, Titus answered the call and filled up the bucket as one of the top scorers in the conference last season. While some players might have turned all of their attention to scoring and let their defense lapse, Titus did the exact opposite, using her stellar defense to create offensive opportunities. Titus went on to have a phenomenal season on both ends of the court, which has carried over into her senior campaign.

Community

Titus has been heavily involved in improving her community in any way she can. Titus has volunteered her time with a variety of organizations, including helping at the Special Olympics, taking care of pets at the animal shelter, and managing food distribution with the Macon Food Bank.

Competition

Titus will graduate this spring as one of the most well-rounded players to come through Mercer in the program’s 51-year history.  Titus is on the verge of becoming the 27th member of the program’s 1,000-point club, needing just 41 to reach the milestone. Titus also ranks third in program history in career blocks (126) and ninth in steals (176), the only player in program history to record 175+ steals and 125+ blocks. Additionally, she ranks 25th among active Division I players in career blocks and 23rd in blocks per game (1.4).

The Johns Creek, Ga., native was named the preseason Player of the Year for the SoCon prior to this season after earning Defensive Player of the Year honors last season. As a junior, Titus was the only player in the national with 50+ blocks and 75+ steals, becoming first player in program history to accomplish this feat. Titus is also a two-time All-SoCon Tournament performer, being named to the first team in 2019. Titus finished each of the last two seasons as an All-SoCon Second Team selection by both the coaches and media while also garnering a spot on the All-Defensive Team both years.

For her career, Titus has scored 959 points (10.9 avg.) while shooting 41.3 percent (388-of-940) from the field. Titus has reached double figures in 50 games while at Mercer, including 10 20-point efforts. Titus has brought down 468 rebounds (5.3 rpg), including 169 on the offensive glass. Titus has also dished out 166 assists.
