He is always willing to talk to the media, while also greeting and saying thank you to them.

Community

Dias is very involved in the Marshall community, whether through volunteering for events or teaching soccer to kids near Huntington. He always has a smile on his face while demonstrating his footwork to the youngsters, and they look up to him for it.

Competition

Dias arrived in Marshall as a sophomore 2019. He made an instant impact with his ball-handling, speed, knowledge, and strength making him dangerous on the pitch. Working through a preseason injury in 2019, Dias still managed to tally three goals and three assists, helping Marshall win its first ever C-USA Championship and earn their first ever NCAA Tournament birth.

In 2020-21, Dias lived up to his nickname as ‘the magician.’ He led both the Herd and the C-USA in scoring with six goals, seven assists, and 19 points. Dias also finished ninth in the NCAA in total assists. For his stellar play, he was named the C-USA Player of the Year, Offensive MVP, Co-Midfielder of the Year, and earned first team all-conference status.

Leading Marshall to an NCAA Championship, Dias was named a 2020-21 United Soccer Coaches first team All-American, first team All-Region selection, and a member of the NCAA All-Tournament Team. The MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist was also named the 2021 C-USA Michael L. Silve Co-Male Athlete of the Year.

Prior to the 2021 season, Dias was named the preseason C-USA Offensive Player of the Year and a member of the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List.
