Wesley Fields made the president’s list in the spring of 2018 with a perfect 4.0 GPA and was named to the 2015-2018 Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll.
Character
Fields is one of three team captains voted on by his teammates, and he has been a team player who lets his actions do the talking. He is heavily involved in Athletes in Action (AIA).
Community
Fields is a Wuerffel Award Candidate for his work in the community and works with local schools and organizations.
Competition
Fields is a candidate for the Doak Walker Award, which is given to the nation’s top collegiate running back, and he just recently passed the 2,000-yard career rushing total. In 2017, he earned All-Sun Belt Conference Honorable Mention honors.
