Character
Steelhammer is a leader in his cadet squadron as a section commander, flight commander and on the football team as a team captain. As the section and flight commander, he is responsible for the training of freshmen cadets.
Community
Steelhammer was extremely active in the fire cleanup and mitigation in the Colorado Springs community following both the Waldo Canyon and Black Forest fires.
Competition
Steelhammer is a two-time first-team All-Mountain West Conference honoree and set a school record in 2014 with three interceptions vs. Boise State. He currently ranks fifth in AFA history in career interceptions with 11.
