Character
Lehman has always been a very hard worker. She grew up working hard on a farm, and she continues that work ethic at WSU by going to the gym and working hard, giving it her all every day. The older she’s become in the program, the more of a leader she has become, especially her junior and senior year. She has been a great communicator and taken a very positive and strong leadership position, which has greatly helped the team.
Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. Lehman has learned what her weaknesses are, and a lot of those weaknesses have become strengths because of her hard work and focus. She’s also extremely competitive and is the same on the court and in the classroom, approaching both the same way. She is driven in both areas and has a great reputation with her professors because she cares so much about the classroom, the work she is doing, her goals in her career and what she wants to do after graduation.
