Character

Stephenson is a one of the most reliable members of the Cowgirl program both on and off the field. She has started all but one of OSU’s games in her first three seasons in Stillwater (missing that game to attend the funeral of a family member) and is the epitome of a leader by example.

Community

Stephenson is actively involved as a volunteer in the Stillwater community where she has served with the Humane Society and YMCA as well as supplying Thanksgiving baskets for those in need and volunteering with the Adopt-an-Angel Tree program. Stephenson also served on a mission trip to Guatemala in 2014 and as an ambassador for the Nike N7 Youth Movement, which involves Native Americans from all around Oklahoma and encourages them to be active members of their tribe through exercise and sports.

Competition

Stephenson enters her senior season with 14 goals and 11 assists in 62 career games and is on the verge of cracking the top 10 on several of OSU’s all-time offensive lists. She was named to the Preseason All-Big 12 Team. Stephenson is a two-time All-Big 12 performer, including garnering first-team accolades in 2014, and has also earned NSCAA All-Central Region honors twice. Stephenson has ranked in the top 10 in the Big 12 in goals and points each of the last two seasons
