Carle enters her fifth year at Florida State carrying a 4.0 GPA as an exercise physiology major.

In 2019, Carle was named a CoSIDA first team Academic All-American. The previous year, she was named an Elite 90 winner.

Carle has been an FSU Golden Torch winner since 2018, which is awarded for academic excellence. She has also been a member of the FSU President’s List in every semester since the fall of 2017.

Character

Carle is an outstanding individual and proves it both on and off the field. She helps out with numerous causes around Florida State and at home in Canada.

She is a well-respected member of the Seminoles.

Community

Carle has accumulated over 14 service hours since arriving in Tallahassee.

She has volunteered at back-to-school drives and multiple autism clinics that were hosted by the soccer team. Carle also volunteered at the Night to Shine Prom, which was hosted by Tim Tebow and celebrated those with special needs.

Competition

Carle has been a mainstay in the Seminoles lineup, where she has started 98 games. She has added eight goals and 14 assists throughout her five years.

Helping Florida state to their second National Title, Carle was named to the 2018 College Cup All-Tournament Team. She was instrumental in their tournament run, scoring a goal in the semifinal game.

For her play this season, Carle was named to the 2021 All-ACC second team.

She has also had success on the international level. Carle played for Canada at the 2018 CONCACAF Championship, where she was part of the team that finished second and qualified for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Carle recently competed with the Canadian National Team at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where she helped Canada win a gold medal.
