Angie Woznuk

Woznuk carries a 3.20 cumulative GPA as a Life Sciences major with an Education minor. Over the last two semesters she earned Dean’s List status and is expected to graduate in December 2007. Woznuk has added more to her academic success and has been named to the 2007 ESPN the Magazine Academic Third Team All District VIII.

Woznuk is a crowd favorite with her elite skills and personality. As one of the nation’s top recruits, she was asked to be more of a playmaker at UP instead of a scorer and has willingly taken on that role throughout her four years.

Woznuk’s popularity among fans is evident as she spends considerable time after each game signing autographs. In 2005, like many others, she helped put together a fundraiser for Hurricane Katrina victims.

Woznuk is a two time All-American and three-time All-West Coast Conference honoree. In 2005 she led the Pilots to the NCAA title with an undefeated record of 24-0-2 and scored the game winner and added two assists in the Championship game against UCLA, earning a spot on the College Cup All-Tournament Team. She has started her senior season in 2007 by helping lead Portland to the No. 1 ranking. For her career Woznuk has 10 goals and 27 assists.
