Classroom

A five-time Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll selection Webster graduated with a bachelor’s degree in corporate communication in December 2012 and is currently enrolled in graduate classes. She earned the 2012 UT Arthur Ashe, Jr., Sports Scholar Award and V.F. “Doc” Neuhaus Award honors. Has been an Academic All-Big 12 first team honoree.

Character

Webster has been the epitome of a team leader throughout her distinguished career at UT. She suffered a season-ending knee injury prior to the start of her sophomore season, but returned to the court in 2011 and earned AVCA All-America first team honors and was named Big 12 Player of the Year. In 2012, she played a pivotal role as a fourth-year junior and led Texas to its third national championship crown, earning NCAA Tournament most outstanding player honors along the way.

Community

Webster’s community activities include: Longhorn Leader: Mentored local youth in a service-learning setting, National Women & Girls Sports Day: Participated in various activities with local youth, SAAC Canned Food Drive: Donated canned goods to local Austin food pantries, Texas THON: Participated in a fundraiser to stand for the kids who cannot stand for themselves, A.I.S.D 5th Grade Play Day: Assisted with a volleyball clinic for 5th grade students, UT Child Care Center: Teaching preschool students to read.

Competition

Webster was named 2013 All-Big 12 Preseason Team, 2012 AVCA and Volleyball Magazine All-America first team, named 2012 NCAA Tournament most outstanding player, named to 2012 NCAA All-Tournament Team, All-Central Region and All-Big 12 First Team honors, named 2012 NCAA Austin Regional most outstanding player and named 2012 Big 12 Preseason Player of the Year.
