Classroom

Bryce Fehmel is a two-time Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention selection (both years he was eligible).

Character

Fehmel is one of the hardest workers on the team. He was named a team captain during the fall of 2018 and was nearly a unanimous choice by his teammates.

Community

Fehmel is active in the community and has worked on numerous community service events while at Oregon State. Recently he has volunteered at Doernbecher Childen’s Hospital in Portland, at the Oregon Veterans Home and with Ashbrook Elementary. He’s also been known to sign autographs in left field after home games as well as when he gets approached on the road.

Competition

Fehmel is just one of a handful of Oregon State players to be named an all-american twice during their careers. He received Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-America honors in 2018 as a junior. In 2016, as a freshman, he received all-america honors of Louisville Slugger Second Team, NCBWA Freshman All-America First Team and Perfect Game Freshman All-America First Team. He was named All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention in 2016, then earned first-team honors in 2018. He had won 26 games at Oregon State entering his senior year, good for 10th in program history. His .839 winning percentage (26-5) is good for fourth. Fehmel has been selected by numerous publications as a 2019 Preseason All-American and first-team All-Pac-12 selection.
