Christian Policelli

Quantitative Economics

Policelli has exemplified what a student-athlete is while at Navy.

He is on track to graduate with a degree in quantitative economics and has been named to the Commandant’s List three times.

In a testament to his leadership, Policelli is a team captain for the Mids. He has also served as a plebe summer squad leader in 2020 and was his company’s executive officer for the most recent fall semester.

In 2019, Policelli spent time during the summer on the USS Somerset, LPD 25 in San Diego, California.

While in Annapolis, Policelli has been involved in camps and hitting clinics held by Navy Baseball. These are in addition to all of his USNA duties.

Policelli has proven to be an extremely important member of the Midshipmen baseball program throughout his career. He has appeared in 104 games with 95 starts, recording a .315 batting average and 109 hits. He has also added 72 RBI, a .417 on-base percentage and a .480 slugging percentage.

Policelli started all 45 games this season and hit .333 with an .871 OPS. He tallied 57 hits, 33 RBI, 28 runs scored, and owned both a .466 SLG and .405 OBP. Policelli was named to the All-Patriot League first team for the second straight season, and finished in the conference’s top 10 in batting average, slugging percentage, OPS, hits, RBI, and stolen bases (11).
