Character

O’Connor was elected captain by his teammates for the second straight year. Said Head Coach Bob Whalen: “Cole possesses all of the attributes of a special player in that he is not only one of the best pitchers in our league, but is also one of the hardest-working. He exemplifies every day what coaches want in their captains and their seniors. He exhibits daily the trait of great leaders; he has the ability to make himself and all of those around him better.”

Community

O’Connor volunteers with his teammates annually at the Special Olympics as well as the CHaD Hero half marathon and 5K races, which raise money for the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth.
