Classroom

Colleen Reilly is a biology major with a minor and in Spanish, who holds a 3.67 GPA. She has earned Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll (2017, 2018), SoCon Fall Academic All-Conference Team (fall 2017), Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll (2016, 2017), fall All-Southern Conference Honor Roll (2016) and Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll (2015, 2016) honors, as well as the Southern Conference Commissioner’s Medal (2016, 2017).

Character

Reilly is a great student-athlete who has a strong work ethic both on and off the court. She is an outstanding citizen of the campus community. She is outgoing and welcoming to new students, as well as a great representative of the program and university in her everyday life. Reilly has persevered through injury in order to be a court leader for her team this fall. She has gone above and beyond in the training room for rehab and strengthening. When she has been limited in practices, she has made up for it by helping younger players in their role.

Community

Reilly helps with the several organizations in the community including Pine Street Reading, Jesse Bobo Reading – Women in Reading Day and the Arcadia Volunteer Group, in which she helped participants with their Spanish and taught volleyball. She also has been involved in SAAC, Miracle League, Habitat for Humanity, Women’s Build Week and Downtown Spartanburg where she volunteered for PAL criterium set up and served as a light installation assistant.

Competition

Reilly is a two-time first-team all-conference selection and has recorded more than 300 kills in the past two seasons. As of nomination time, she boasted 728 kills in her career. In 2017, Reilly led Wofford with a .312 attack percentage and 100 blocks. She was the first member of the program to be named first-team all-conference.
