Classroom

Holds perfect 4.0 GPA. Named to President’s Honor Roll every semester. Capital One Academic All-America Third Team 2013. Southland Conference All-Academic Team. Working as a student intern at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital to promote and coordinate wellness events and provide local health education with the Healthy Nacogdoches Coalition, also inputting data, designing flyers and disseminating health information as needed.

Character

Prides herself in providing an example of a positive role model for the local community as a representative of Stephen F. Austin Athletics. Shows greatest work ethic of her teammates and has routinely been last one at the field and in batting cages.

Community

Participated in SFA Baseball/Softball Big Brother/Big Sister Bowling Bash providing children with a safe, fun activity while helping expose local children to positive role models with the Lumberjack and Ladyjack family. Volunteers with organization that donates time and money to local Alzheimer’s Association and participated in Annual Alzheimer’s Memory Walks. Volunteers for annual GE Run Through the Woods, providing aid prior to the race and operation nutrition/beverage stations for participants. Serves her student-athlete community as a team representative on SFA Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Volunteers for a number of activities through SAAC as well.

Competition

Named First Team All-Southland Conference in 2013 and third team in 2012. Ranked third in the conference in 2013 in batting average (.399) and on base percentage (.573). Led the conference in batting during league play (.459) and was fourth in runs (23), and second in on base percentage (.511). Fielding percentage of .977 at short stop position.
