Classroom

Carraway graduated from Georgetown last May, earning a finance degree from the McDonough School of Business. During this academic year, he earned his Masters of Science in Management.

Since arriving on campus, Carraway has been named to the Dean’s List once and BIG East All-Academic Team every year.

Character

Carraway is a two-time team captain for Georgetown. He is the epitome of a lead-by-example student athlete and is one of the hardest working people at the school.

His decision to return for his fifth year further showed his character. Carraway wanted to help the Hoyas compete for a national championship, deferring a full-time position with Barclays in order to do so.

Community

Since arriving on campus, Carraway has been a leader in the community. He spearheads Georgetown’s annual Cycle for Survival team, where he raises money and awareness for rare cancer patients.

Carraway also helps organize the men’s lacrosse team’s participation in the Race to Beat Cancer 5K, which supports the MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute at MedStar Washington Hospital Center.

Competition

Carraway is now Georgetown’s record-holder in career points (282) and goals (195), and ranks second in assists (87) after a stellar season in which he was named a finalist for the Tewaaraton Award. He is only the third player in program history to eclipse 200 career points.

He is a three-time BIG EAST Champion, 2021 Inside Lacrosse second team All-American, 2020 Inside Lacrosse third team All-American, and 2019 USILA honorable mention All-American. Carraway was also named the 2021 BIG EAST Attacker of the Year and is a two-time BIG EAST first team selection.
