Jen Mineau

Classroom

Mineau maintains a 3.7 GPA. She has made the Dean’s List every year while being ranked in the top 10% of her class. Chosen as a two-time A-10 Scholar Athlete of the Year recipient, Mineau was named ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District (District 1) as a sophomore and Academic All America as a junior.

Character

Mineau was selected as a Senior Captain on the team. She volunteers time as a tutor in the school’s HEOP program. She serves as a monitor in study hall. Mineau overcame nagging foot injuries as a freshman and junior to post impressive numbers in the circle.

Community

Mineau helped organize “Pushpin Gallery” art exhibit in Lincoln Center last year. She volunteered at several clinics over the past few years with the team and addressed alumni at a donor meeting last year to benefit the University.

Competition

Mineau posted 7 career no hitters (4 perfect games) so far.  She was named Preseason All-America as a junior. She currently ranks as the school’s all-time leader in wins and strikeouts. Named a USA softball player of the year top 10 finalist as a sophomore, Mineau was selected as an NFCA All Mid Atlantic first team honoree as a sophomore and junior. She was named a First Team Louisiville Slugger/NFCA All America as a sophomore and earned First Team All-ECAC praise that season as well. She was named Most Outstanding Player in the 2011 A-10 Tournament.
