Classroom
Teahan has excelled in the classroom, while being a full-time athlete. She holds a cumulative 3.83 GPA as an early childhood education major. Her academic success has earned her 2010 and 2009 MVC Scholar-Athlete first team honors and 2010 CoSIDA Academic All-District VII second team accolades.
Character
Teahan demonstrated heart and leadership in making four saves in the shootout of the 2010 MVC Tournament semifinals to advance the team to the championship match.
Community
Teahan has been active in the Springfield community as well. She has volunteered at the Ozarks Food Harvest. She is active in the local Boys and Girls Club and the Just Read Program. She has also helped out the Adopt-A-Street project and the Halloween in the Halls event.
Competition
Teahan has made an impact on the Bears in her first three seasons. On the Missouri State career leaders lists, she is in the top five in every goalkeeping category with her senior season still remaining. Teahan has been so dominant the past two seasons that she was named All-MVC first team goalkeeper in 2009 and 2010. In addition, her four saves in the shootout of the 2010 MVC Tournament semifinals propelled Teahan onto the All-Tournament team. She has also received MVC Defensive Player of the Week honors twice in her career.
