He consistently helps wit the elderly and enjoys working with youth, specifically through After School All-Stars.
Competition
Mercer has appeared in 16 games with 12 starts and is tied for first on the team in goals with 5. He ranks second on the team in points with 11 and was named Sun Belt Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week in September 2014. Mercer was selected to the 2014 All-Sun Belt Conference Second Team and is tied for fourth on the all-time Division I list for career goals (10). He was the 2014-15 NJIT men’s soccer Outstanding Performer award winner and the Chi Alpha Sigma award recipient.
