Character

“In nearly 17 years of coaching college soccer, I’ve known few young women who possess the maturity, spirit, and character of Kelsey Haycook.  Her integrity and loyalty is truly amazing and she is greatly respected by her peers, coaches, and professors alike.  In my experience, everyone who has an opportunity to connect with her finds themselves a better person, and with a greater perspective on life as a result of their relationship with her. Kelsey also possesses a drive and determination to succeed that I’ve never seen in my career as a player and coach.
Kelsey is known for her pursuit of excellence in her community, the classroom, and on the field, which is shown true by her 2nd team All-American nod as well as her Academic All-American honor last year. Her commitment in the youth organizations and genuine warmth make her an integral part of both La Salle University and her local community.  Her passion and strong will is what drives her to be the truly remarkable person she is today and the contributions she will make to our community in the years to come.”
