Mullins, a cell biology and neuroscience major, is a three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection and three-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar. During his academic career, he has also been named a Scholar All-American.

He was the recipient of the Big Ten Postgraduate Scholarship, which he intends to utilize to enroll in medical school.

Character

Mullins is a three-time captain and was a candidate for the 2020 Senior CLASS Award.

He put his future as a doctor on hold with uncertainty related to the pandemic, opting to take an additional year of eligibility instead. Mullins will spend the year doing research and gaining more experience in hospital settings before applying to medical school.

Community

Mullins is an active volunteer with the Rutgers community service efforts. He has spent time working with the Embrace Kids Foundation, participating in their Special Friends Day.

Competition

Excelling since joining the Scarlet Knights in 2017, Mullins has started in all 47 games during his career. He has 179 career points, scoring 99 goals and adding 80 assists. Mullins will enter the season 11th all-time in Rutgers in goals and eighth all-time in points.

Mullins, a 2019 All-American, is also a two-time All-Big Ten selection. He earned first team honors in 2019 and second team honors in 2017. Mullins was also named to the All-ECAC team in 2019, and has been a member of the Tewaaraton Award Watch List.
