Lindsay Kutscher has consistently been an excellent student throughout her time with CSUN. After posting a 3.75 GPA last spring, she increased her overall GPA to 3.71 entering this semester and has been a Big West All-Academic honoree three times.

Character

Kutscher is a senior captain on the team and is a defensive anchor on the backline. She is a member of the BUILD PODER program that specializes in medical research as she has helped work on the program’s breast cancer research.

Community

Over the past three years, Kutscher has helped the Matadors complete volunteer work with the Good Shepherd Center in Los Angeles, which is a center for women and children in need.

Competition

As of nomination time, Kutscher had scored eight goals and collected 18 points in her CSUN career while also being named to the All-Big West First Team and United Soccer Coaches All-Region Second Team last season. She also has been named to All-Big West Second Team (2016) and All-Freshman Team in her career. Between 2015 and 2017, Kutscher helped the Matadors post 30 shutouts.
