Maggie Hannon

Classroom

Currently owns a 3.6 GPA, studying health sciences and pre-physical therapy. Named to the 2013 Horizon League Fall Academic Team. Has earned a spot on the Horizon League Honor Roll every semester she has been eligible. Three-time Cleveland State Athletic Academic honoree.

Character

Takes initiative to be a leader on and off the court, serving as a positive role model for not only the underclassmen on the volleyball team, but for the rest of the student-athlete population. Takes pride in focusing on her academic efforts, striving to be a well-rounded student-athlete. Represents Cleveland State Athletics and Cleveland State University in a positive manner when in the public eye.

Community

Participates annually in the Cleveland State Student-Athlete Advisory Committee’s community service projects. Has volunteered at the Cleveland Foodbank. Takes part in the CSU Volleyball team’s initiative to read to elementary age children in the Cleveland area.

Competition

Named to the 2013 Horizon League First Team. Led Cleveland State to a Horizon League regular season and tournament title and NCAA Tournament bid as a sophomore. Had a team-best .300 hitting percentage, averaging a team-best 3.00 kills per set as a junior. Ranks sixth in the Cleveland State career record book with a .308 career hitting percentage.
