A member of the Omaha Dean’s List during the 2015-16 academic year, Mark Moulton is on track to complete his degree in business administration. The Omaha, Neb., native was a member of the Summit League All-Academic Honor Roll for the previous three seasons and is a three-time Summit League Distinguished Scholar. CoSida honored Moulton as an Academic All-America Second Team selection in 2015.

Character

Mark Moulton is a dedicated, driven, hard-working leader both in the classroom and on the soccer pitch. He has been trusted to organize and direct off-season workouts. He shows his dedication with his ability to set goals and then work to achieve them. To excel on the soccer pitch, he put forth extra effort in the weight room and on the pitch after practices to improve his personal stamina and ability. Moulton responds to the call of leadership and has a way of finding the right words to say to encourage and motivate his team. As an upperclassman, he has distinguished himself by his personal work ethic while also earning respect for his demonstrated ability to foster growth in younger teammates. He has continued to make academics his priority despite the demands of soccer, maintaining a 3.96 GPA and staying on course to graduate with honors this spring.

Community

Moulton is active in team community service activities including visits to Heritage Elementary through Completely Kids and leading the South Omaha Soccer Clinic. He also has helped with the Special Olympics and with Team Impact, which works to improve the quality of life for children facing life-threatening illnesses.

Competition

One of the most exciting players in the Summit League, Moulton finished last season second in the conference in points and goals. Moulton has served as a team captain for three seasons, tying a school record with two goals and becoming the program’s leader in assists. This season, Moulton tied the program’s record for career points. A two-time All-Summit League selection and a four-time Summit League Player of the Week, Moulton earned Summit League All-Tournament Team accolades last season.
