Share Harre was a second-team Academic All-American in 2016, and she is a two-time Academic All-District honoree (2015, 2016). She is a two-time first-team MVC Scholar-Athlete (2015, 2016) and carries 3.91 cumulative GPA.

Character

Harre is a two-time team captain for Head Coach Kerri Blaylock. She has been an outstanding leader and role model, exemplifying the absolute pinnacle of excellence on the field where she has earned first-team all-region honors, in the classroom where she was also honored as an Academic All-American, and in the community where she has more than 40 hours of community service. She also has been the academic leader of a program that has finished in the top-12 nationally in team GPA in all three of her seasons in the program. The program has finished in the top 5 regarding GPA each of the last two years.

Community

Harre has committed more than 40 hours of community service to the Southern Illinois region since joining the Saluki softball program. She has volunteered with military veterans, the Women’s Intersport Network and Special Olympics, just to name a few. She assisted with a softball clinic in Mexico for youths, and she has collected food for impoverished families in the region. She has been a 4-H mentor all four years as well as being a volunteer for Women Changing the Face of Agriculture.

Competition

Harre was named first-team All-MVC and first-team NFCA All-Region in 2016. She led the MVC in on-base percentage in 2016 and ranked in the top 50 nationally in both on-base percentage and slugging percentage. She was top 10 in the MVC in batting average, slugging percentage, on-base percentage, runs scored, RBI, doubles, home runs, total bases and walks drawn. She’s a three-time MVC Softball Player of the Week, and she earned All-MVC honors in 2014 and was an MVC Newcomer of the Week that year.
