Character

“In my 35 years of coaching at the collegiate level, Connor is in the top three or four of guys who work hard every single day. Sometimes he scares us how hard he works. He’s a great student who comes from a great family that is ultra-successful. Guys turn to Connor for leadership because he always seems to do the right thing. He’s a great captain for our program because he always puts effort into every drill, and he can share with our guys, as a role model, how to do things and how to do them correctly. We’re blessed that he came here, are proud of his accomplishments, and look forward to seeing him compete in his senior year.” – Head Coach Bill Tierney

Community

Cannizzaro has worked clinics with the Denver men’s lacrosse team and Denver City Lacrosse for the inner-city youth program, teaching 3rd-8th graders the fundamental skills of lacrosse. He has also participated in the Light the Night Walk for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and has played in two fundraisers for the Colorado Rolling Mammoth. Cannizzaro participated in a clinic with Unified Lacrosse, an organization committed to fostering the growth of lacrosse through the collaboration of athletes with disabilities and partner athletes.
