Swanson boasts a 3.51 GPA as a nursing major.

In 2020-21, she was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team and MVC Scholar-Athlete Team.

Character

Swanson received a United Soccer Coaches’ Player Award of Distinction in 2020-21.

“I can’t say enough about what Swanson has meant to our program both on and off the field. She’s performed at the highest level, day in and day out, balancing the responsibilities of being a DI student-athlete while also excelling as a nursing major. Our program is better for having her in it.”

Community

Swanson, along with her teammates, volunteers at the Lakeview Pantry. It is a local organization that provides food and essential services for those in need.

Competition

Swanson has started in every game during her career as a Rambler. She is coming off a terrific season in which she became the first player in program history to receive All-American honors by the United Soccer Coaches.

She was tabbed as the 2020-21 MVC Defensive Player of the Year and was also named to the All-MVC first team for the second straight season.

In Loyola’s clash with Denver, Swanson scored the programs first ever NCAA Tournament goal.
