Olmstead graduated from Loyola last May, earning his bachelor’s degree in international business and global studies. He was named the 2021 Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete of the Year and finished with a 3.93 GPA.

Immediately after graduation, Olmstead started to work on his MBA. He again carries a 3.93 GPA and will earn the degree this spring.

Olmstead earned Loyola’s Magis Scholar-Leader Award and is a four-time member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and eight-time Dean’s List selection. In addition to his accolades, Olmsetad is a member of multiple honor societies, including Phi Beta Kappa, Omicron Delta Kappa, Beta Gamma Sigma, Alpha Sigma Nu and Chi Alpha Sigma.

He has worked for Morgan Stanley as an Operations Summer Analyst and has completed multiple projects throughout his academic career.

Olmstead has recently been named the Patriot League’s Men’s Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the second-straight season and was recognized as a member of the Patriot League All-Academic Team for the third year in a row.

Character

Entering 2022, Olmstead has been named a team captain for the Greyhounds.

He has also made good on his future career aspirations by obtaining and completing an internship.

Community

Working with Harlem Youth Lacrosse, Olmstead has been able to develop a close relationship with several of the young players. He was even invited to one of the players’ adoption ceremony during the pandemic because of how strong of a bond he had.

Olmstead has also served as a volunteer lacrosse coach with organizations in his Western New York community.

Competition

Olmstead was named to the all-conference first team last season after leading the Patriot League in total points (60). He also led Loyola in assists (29) for the third straight season while adding 31 goals.

Entering his senior year, Olmstead sits fifth in program history in career assists (82) and 10th in points (168).
