Barcello is pursuing a degree in exercise and wellness at BYU.
Character
Barcello is always thinking of how he can help his teammates become better as a leader for the Cougars.
He spends time after each game signing autographs and interacting with young fans.
Community
Barcello has helped promote his teammate Giden George’s shoe drive. It collected over 5,000 pairs of shoes that were sent to Nigeria.
Competition
Entering his senior year, Barcello is now the undisputed leader of the Cougars. They are off to a terrific start at 6-1 with three wins coming against NCAA tournament teams.
Barcello was named a 2021 AP All-America Honorable Mention and an All-WCC first team selection for his play.
Through his career at BYU, Barcello has started 66 games and is averaging 14.5 points per game among them.
