Smith is a kind, humble person, who is soft-spoken. She is always smiling, honest, happy to see people and a true friend.
Community
Smith helps lead the team in all community engagement projects. She is there smiling and teaching kids in youth clinics or asking questions during poster-signing sessions.
Competition
Smith led the Buffs back to the NCAA Sweet 16 for the first time in nearly 20 years last season, and she recently hit her 1,000th career kill. In 2017 Smith was an All-Pac-12 First Team selection, a member of the NCAA Waco Sub-Regional All-Tournament Team, an AVCA All-Pacific South Region honoree, and an AVCA second-team All-American.
