Classroom

Tripp, a family science major, carries a 3.71 GPA. She has earned Academic All-WAC honors all three years at Utah Valley.

She is also completing the Leadership for Personal and Social Impact certificate.

Character

Tripp has been a team captain for Utah Valley for the past two seasons. She is a leader both on the field and in the classroom, as proven by here athletic and academic achievements.

She represents Utah Valley well. Tripp is a student-athlete that speaks with the media often and she is always praising her teammates and opponents.

Community

Tripp has been involved in several service and community projects during her time at Utah Valley. She volunteered for a local professor and his disabled wife for four years, doing yard work and any projects he needed assistance with.

She volunteered for the Orem Hospital Festival, where she helped with the organization, set up, and the running of a booth.

In 2018, Tripp volunteered at an orphanage in Costa Rica.

In 2019, she was able to put on a kids camp and run them through drills and answer questions that they had while she was on a road trip with her team in Michigan.

In 2020, Tripp orchestrated a team training with Operation Underground Railroad. She educated her team and others on human trafficking and provided the opportunity to have her team get trained and certified on knowing how to see signs of it and ways to help.

She has also spent time helping at the Boys & Girls Club in Orem, Utah.

Competition

In 2019, Tripp earned All-WAC first team and WAC All-Tournament team honors. She led the team in goals (8), shots (42), and points (21). Those marks ranked fourth, third, and fourth in the WAC, respectively. She was the only women’s soccer player in the WAC to earn National Soccer Coaches All Region honors.

In 2017, she was named the WAC Freshman of the Year after leading Utah Valley to a WAC Tournament title and NCAA tournament birth.

For her career, Tripp has 40 points with 14 goals and 12 assists. She has quickly climbed Utah Valley’s all-time career assists chart, ranking seventh.

Prior to the start of the 2020-21 season, she was named the preseason WAC Offensive Player of the Year.
