Peterson earned ALL-BIG EAST second team recognition last year after finishing second in the conference in wins (7) and ERA (.258).
Entering 2022, Peterson has been tabbed a preseason all-conference first team selection and a preseason All-American. He started off the year with a career-high 13 strikeout performance.
