Classroom
Manning is a business major with a 3.7 GPA. After he plays baseball he would like to work five years in the corporate setting and his dream job is to be in the front office of the Colorado Rockies. He is a two-time member of the All Big West Academic Team, a four-time Pacific Scholar Athlete and a four-time Big West Scholar-Athlete. In 2005 he was named the Freshman Scholar Athlete of the Year.

He was the Big West representative for Pacific Student Athletic Council
Community
Brett has volunteered at the Stockton YMCA and as an after school tutor for students 12 -18 years. He organized the 2006 Thanksgiving Food Drive for the athletic department and has worked with a Stockton Little League Baseball team.
